The Association of African American Financial
Advisors seeks to develop and foster professional
relationships among African American professionals
working in the financial advisory industry. The
Association will provide a forum for further
education, training and visibility of its members.
It is also the goal of the Association to
establish an effective network to reach and remain
on the "cutting edge" of the financial advisory
industry in order to enable members to be more competitive
in providing financial and economic consulting services.
Further, the Association will endeavor to
provide assistance, guidance and nurturing for those
families that seek to improve their opportunities
for participating and prospering financially in
an economically progressive society. To participate
fully in the economic progress of these United States,
individuals must exhibit a more positive attitude
and a more pro active approach to increasing their
knowledge of financial matters, particularly as
related to saving, investing and spending money
wisely. Accomplishing these worthy goals will help
prepare consumers to attain financial independence,
to provide adequately for the education of their
families and to plan for retirement.
The
Association will accomplish these objectives
while building a membership of African American
financial experts who are highly qualified and leaders
in their fields. AAAA membership will provide increased
opportunities for financial advisors to display
their talents and training, extensive membership
benefits, better access to the financial advisory
market and the opportunity to enhance earning capacity.
