MAJOR PROGRAMS

Financial Literacy Series

For four consecutive years, AAAA has co-sponsored financial literacy seminars with the Prince Georges County Delta Alumnae Foundation. Other partners have included the Fannie Mae Foundation, Washington Informer Newspaper, Prince George's Community College, Reid Community Development Corporation, First Combined Community Federal Credit Union and the Literacy Institute for Financial Enrichment.

  • Credit and Debt Management
  • Financial Planning
  • Retirement Planning
  • Estate Planning

Speakers Bureau

AAAA members regularly conduct seminars and workshops for community-based and non-profit organizations. To schedule a speaker for your next event, please contact AAAA headquarters.

Quarterly Membership Meetings

At least once per quarter, AAAA hosts membership meetings that include an educational component. Invited guest speaker topics have included: "How to leverage your Referral Networks" and "Predatory Lending Trends and Legislation-Implications for your Clients"; etc.

Continuing Education Programs

Periodically, AAAA may sponsor or co-sponsor programs eligible for continuing education credit.

Networking Events

At least once or twice per year, AAAA hosts networking events for members and invited guests. The 2003 networking event was co-hosted by one of our partners, Morgan Stanley, at the Center Club in Baltimore, MD.

Mentoring & Executive Development Program

AAAA has recently launched a mentorship program that enhances the leadership and professional development of some of the association's more experienced members. For more information on the program please contact AAAA headquarters .
